LABORATORY
TUBE.
Samco laboratory
tube is manufactured from high tear peroxide and platinum cure elastomers
suitable for medical,
peristaltic and pharmaceutical applications. Also from medium tear general
purpose
elastomers for economically
priced industrial transfer tubing. Available in natural translucent
colour for visual
flow and solid/tinted colours, to order.
Temperature range,
-60°C to 200°C, with the option of extended temperatures to 315°C.
All tube is manufactured
from FDA and WRC approved materials, is fully autoclavable and
available in sizes
from 0.5mm ID to 105mm ID with optional wall thickness.

REINFORCED
HOSE.
This lightweight
and ultra flexible glass fibre braided hose has been developed to handle
working pressures
of up to 400psi/30
bar and operating temperatures of -60°C to +200°C. Manufactured
to meet FDA and
European food grade
regulations the smooth inner/outer surface resists material adhesion assuring
vital cleanliness in process areas and efficient autoclave or CIP cleaning.Manufactured
in translucent for visual flow or with red/blue outercovers for ease of
identification, the hose is available in sizes from 3mm to 25mm ID in 25m
coil lengths. Hygienic hose assemblies for food and pharmaceutical industries
using 316L stainless steel fittings are available to order.

HYGIENIC VACUUM AND DELIVERY HOSE.
Silgiene MB hygienic
hose is manufactured from a polyester reinforced, platinum cured silicone
with
a 316L stainless
steel wire helix. Using materials approved to FDA 177.2600 to maintain
high levels
of purity for food,
dairy and pharmaceutical applications.Available in bore sizes of 9mm to
152mm,
the hose is rated
to 10 bar working pressure and full vacuum, with operating temperatures
of –60 to +200°C.
The tubing’s smooth
inner resists material adhesion and its smooth outer ensures total hygiene
during
operation and easy
CIP or autoclave clean down.
Hose assemblies
with hygienically swaged 316L stainless steel fittings will suit all standard
process
plant connections
and are individually tested to specified operating pressures.

EXTRUDED
SILICONE PROFILES.
A wide range of extruded
profiles and physical properties from 30°A to 80°A in any colour,
matched to RAL
chart if required.
Intricate sections and profiles extruded to supplied engineering drawings
or by liaison to
achieve a joint design solution with very competitive tooling rates.
Also technical grade
cords suited to door seals in extreme environments from FDA and WRC approved
materials.

FABRICATION.
Samco offer a wide
range of fabrication services.
Vulcanising, cutting
and jointing processes enable Samco to tailor both solid and sponge silicone
materials
to a multitude of
applications. Seals, gaskets and inflatable seals can be made to your drawings
or in
collaboration with
our design team. A screen-printing service can add individual logos or
part marks.
PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE BACKING.
An acrylic based
adhesive backing. Available applied to one or both sides of solid sheet,
strip,
sponge sheet and
extrusions. Gives good adhesion to most clean/prepared surfaces.
Ideal for component
location, during production assembly.

SILICONE
RUBBER SHEET.
Continuous calendared silicone rubber sheet
on 10m rolls x 1.2m width. Thickness from 0.3mm to 12mm and shore
hardness from 40°A to 70°A. Standard
colours are translucent, black, white and red iron oxide but other colours
matched to RAL number can be manufactured to
order. All manufactured from FDA approved elastomers and available
in high temperature and fire retardant grades.
Standard sheet has a temperature range from –60°C to 220°C.
Silicone sheet with impregnated glass cloth reinforcement
is available in 10m rolls x 1m width, 1.5mm and 3.2mm thick.
Only in red iron oxide and 70°A.

SILICONE
GASKETS.
Samco in-house gasket cutting capability offers
prototype or large production runs of punched or water jet cut silicone
gaskets manufactured to customer drawings.Using
40 to 70°A, solid silicone sheet in a range of colours and sizes.
FDA food grade approved with a temperature range
-60°C to 220°C continuous use.
Also cut from expanded silicone sponge sheet
resistant to temperatures of 200°C.
White, black, red or blue, available in densities
from 16 to 33lb per cubic foot.
Acrylic based double sided tape or silicone pressure
sensitive adhesive backing optional on all cut parts.
EXPANDED SILICONE SPONGE.
Samco expanded silicone
sponge is available in a range of colours and densities to include sheet
and extruded sections,
cord, tubing and gaskets, all with a tear resistant skin and able to withstand
heavy loading. Not
giving off toxic fumes in the event of fire and also available with UL94VO
fire retardant rating.
The material has
a fine closed cell structure encapsulated by a smooth and resilient outer
skin to give a
low degree of moisture
absorbance and offers a wide continuous service temperature range of –50
to +200°C.
Sheet, gaskets and
extruded profiles can be supplied with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing
and cord
can be joined to
form continuous seals.
